Welcome to Sweet Peony! I’m so happy you’re here!
My name is Nicole, and I’m a 26 year old newlywed(ish) with a passion for baking. I love pretty, sparkly, and vintage things, ruffles and of course, peonies. Actually, I wish I could live in a garden of peonies. But instead, I live in Los Angeles with my wonderful husband, Matt, and our little Pomeranian, Maverick. They are the frosting to my cupcake and make life so sweet!
Growing up, I loved watching and helping my mom bake. I learned from her and she learned from the best—my grandma. As soon as I was in college, I was always making treats for tailgates, parties and the holidays. It might be true that I had more all-nighters for baking than for studying! Once I got married, I started baking even more for friends, coworkers, and pretty much anyone that would eat them. Honestly, I think I’m obsessed!
Nothing makes me happier than sharing homemade treats with people and seeing their faces light up! Sweet Peony is about sharing my love of baking with you and hopefully inspiring you to bake & share some homemade love too!
